Hello Hello, Lil Buns!
Not sure how many of you know this, but I was born in the 80s! It's also one of my favorite decades~
I found this video on Youtube and thought to try it out for myself.
☆Favorite 80s Movie☆
A lot of people will say Pretty in Pink was their favorite but I think Molly Ringwald really shined in Sixteen Candles. It really had a little of everything - comedy, romance, angst, suspense, amazing cast, etc. Everything that 80s movies were known for! And she ended up with an amazing birthday.♥
☆Favorite 80s Cartoon☆
"Glamour and glitter, fashion and fame"
Jem was definitely all of this and so much more. It was everything I dreamed of as a kid and really one of my inspirations. It had great 80s style, music and even showed that cartoons can have drama.

☆Favorite 80s TV Show☆
Pre- Saved by the Bell aka Good Morning, Miss Bliss was my favorite. While it only had Zack, Screech, and Lisa of the the more well-known main series Saved by the Bell, it was still a really fun show to watch. It you were a kid growing up in the 80s/90s and going to middle school, this was definitely the show you needed to see.
☆Favorite Thing About the 80s☆
80s hair. Especially if you were into the whole rock and pop scene. The wilder the better. There were tons of crazy hairstyles and bright colors. Probably where a lot of today's styles came from.
☆Where were you in 1989?☆
I was only 5 so most of the time I was seated in front of the television, especially on Saturday mornings when we actually had Saturday morning cartoons.
☆Favorite 80s Cereal☆
As a kid, I was a total gamer and very into Super Mario Bros. and Legend of Zelda. So when this cereal came out, of course I had to have it. Every time I saw it in the store, I made sure my mom got it for me. I haven't seen any video game companies do this since then, sadly.
☆Favorite 80s Fashion Trend☆
Lace with everything! Whether it was short leggings, gloves or socks, there was always a lace version of it. And it would complete every single look.
☆Favorite Artist of the 80s☆
The Queen of 80s Pop - Cyndi Lauper. Every song was basically an instant hit and/or used in a movie. Teens in the 80s had it rough with the parents' generation and trying to be themselves. So her music really became an inspiration and influence.
☆Favorite Song of the 80s☆
Take on Me by Ah-Ha. I don't care who you are, but everyone has to have heard this song at least once in their life. It's a true 80s pop song and one of the first to have animation with live action. Plus, it's extremely catchy.
☆Favorite 80s Book☆
I grew up reading Calvin and Hobbes. As a kid, it's a fun comic that's easy enough to accept it as that. But it's when you become an adult that you understand that there was a lot more to this little boy and his adventures with his stuffed tiger.
☆Favorite 80s Icon☆
Molly Ringwald is the first person I think of when I think about the 80s. All of her movies were great and she's always been so adorable!
☆Favorite 80s Crush☆
I'm embarrassed to say my crush... Young Michael J. Fox. I watched him in all of the Back to the Future movies, Teen Wolf, Family Ties Stuart Little, Atlantis, and Spin City. And I loved every bit of it.
☆Favorite Toy from the 80s☆
Original My Little Pony toys were and always will be my addiction. As a kid, I loved bright and pastel colors and magical creatures (even now!). And what's not to love about gorgeous collectible ponies with castle style play sets?
☆Favorite Candy Bar from the 80s☆
Before I developed an allergy to peanuts, Snickers used to be my favorite candy bar. I still miss them.
What are your favorites from the 80s?
That's all for now! See you next time!
