80s Tag!

Hello Hello, Lil Buns!

Not sure how many of you know this, but I was born in the 80s! It's also one of my favorite decades~

I found this video on Youtube and thought to try it out for myself.

☆Favorite 80s Movie☆
A lot of people will say Pretty in Pink was their favorite but I think Molly Ringwald really shined in Sixteen Candles. It really had a little of everything - comedy, romance, angst, suspense, amazing cast, etc. Everything that 80s movies were known for! And she ended up with an amazing birthday.♥

☆Favorite 80s Cartoon☆
"Glamour and glitter, fashion and fame"
Jem was definitely all of this and so much more. It was everything I dreamed of as a kid and really one of my inspirations. It had great 80s style, music and even showed that cartoons can have drama.

☆Favorite 80s TV Show☆
Pre- Saved by the Bell aka Good Morning, Miss Bliss was my favorite. While it only had Zack, Screech, and Lisa of the the more well-known main series Saved by the Bell, it was still a really fun show to watch. It you were a kid growing up in the 80s/90s and going to middle school, this was definitely the show you needed to see.

☆Favorite Thing About the 80s☆
80s hair. Especially if you were into the whole rock and pop scene. The wilder the better. There were tons of crazy hairstyles and bright colors. Probably where a lot of today's styles came from.

☆Where were you in 1989?☆
I was only 5 so most of the time I was seated in front of the television, especially on Saturday mornings when we actually had Saturday morning cartoons.

☆Favorite 80s Cereal☆
As a kid, I was a total gamer and very into Super Mario Bros. and Legend of Zelda. So when this cereal came out, of course I had to have it. Every time I saw it in the store, I made sure my mom got it for me. I haven't seen any video game companies do this since then, sadly.

☆Favorite 80s Fashion Trend☆
Lace with everything! Whether it was short leggings, gloves or socks, there was always a lace version of it. And it would complete every single look.

☆Favorite Artist of the 80s☆
The Queen of 80s Pop - Cyndi Lauper. Every song was basically an instant hit and/or used in a movie. Teens in the 80s had it rough with the parents' generation and trying to be themselves. So her music really became an inspiration and influence.

☆Favorite Song of the 80s☆
Take on Me by Ah-Ha. I don't care who you are, but everyone has to have heard this song at least once in their life. It's a true 80s pop song and one of the first to have animation with live action. Plus, it's extremely catchy.

☆Favorite 80s Book☆
I grew up reading Calvin and Hobbes. As a kid, it's a fun comic that's easy enough to accept it as that. But it's when you become an adult that you understand that there was a lot more to this little boy and his adventures with his stuffed tiger.

☆Favorite 80s Icon☆
Molly Ringwald is the first person I think of when I think about the 80s. All of her movies were great and she's always been so adorable!

☆Favorite 80s Crush☆
I'm embarrassed to say my crush... Young Michael J. Fox. I watched him in all of the Back to the Future movies, Teen Wolf, Family Ties Stuart Little, Atlantis, and Spin City. And I loved every bit of it.

☆Favorite Toy from the 80s☆
Original My Little Pony toys were and always will be my addiction. As a kid, I loved bright and pastel colors and magical creatures (even now!). And what's not to love about gorgeous collectible ponies with castle style play sets?

☆Favorite Candy Bar from the 80s☆
Before I developed an allergy to peanuts, Snickers used to be my favorite candy bar. I still miss them.

If you made it all the way to the end, you've been tagged!

What are your favorites from the 80s?

That's all for now! See you next time!

My Video Game Life: Pokemon Edition

My Video Game Life: Pokemon Edition

☆Hello Hello, Lil Buns!☆

I think you buns knew this was coming. As I'm sure you all know, I have played video games since I was a kid. My mom and uncle had an Atari and the original NES. So of course I was going to become a gamer. 30 years later, I'm still playing. Mostly thanks to my Darling who plays some of these games with me. One of them being Pokemon.

Pokemon is one of those games where all ages can enjoy. That's pretty amazing considering it just turned 20 years old! It's gotten so popular that it's gone beyond the games. We've got clothing, art, merch, a mobile app and tons of adorable plushies!

Here are some things in my collection~

As you can see, I love the plushies the most XD
I also have Pokemon Red, Yellow and X! Hoping to get Pokemon Moon when it finally comes out.

Finally started playing Pokemon Go as well! Here are some of my catches~

Do you love Pokemon? What's your favorite way to collect them?

That's all for now! See you next time!

30 Day Video Game Challenge: Day 11 - Gaming System of Choice

Hiyo lil bunnies!

Weekend is almost here! What do you usually do? I tend to play video games with my boyfriend. Which leads us to today's post...

Day 11
Gaming System of Choice

Nintendo 3DS/2DS
Years ago, it would have been the Sony Playstation. But now, there are a lot more fun games to play by yourself and with others. When I first got my sweet pink 3DS as a gift, I didn't think I would get many games in my collection. But that has definitely changed.

I also hope to get the newest Vocaloids game as well as other fun and cute games!

That's all for now! See you next time!

Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate [02-18-15]

Hiyo Bunnies!

Hope you all have had a great week so far (and keeping warm if you're surrounded by snow like me)! It was also a very nice treat to receive a very special box in the mail. As you all know by now, I am in a long distance relationship with my darling of 5 years. And for every occasion, whether it's birthday, Christmas, Anniversary or Valentine's Day, he likes to spoil me! Among the ton of yummy things he got me was...

I never really got into the series until I met my boyfriend. He tried to get me to play when Monster Hunter Tri for the Nintendo Wii came out. But I've always had internet connection issues or the family TV was occupied so I wasn't always able to play. Then we tried to play Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate on the Nintendo 3DS. But that one didn't have online capabilities and the only time you were able to play with others was when you were all directly connected and you had to be in the same room!!! It was also very annoying to do underwater missions and it all just turned me off from the games.\(>o<)ノ

Thankfully, all of that was fixed and underwater missions were done away with. Even the game's mechanics were tweaked for the new Monster Hunter! My favorite adjustments to Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate are the online capability as well as the return of the kitties (Felynes)! So finally you can go hunting with your friends!

Don't forget to download the patch from the Nintendo eShop so you can get some goodies too! Once you're able to get a kitty on your team, one of the freebies you get are Mario and Luigi costumes! I heard that you would be able to have a team with two kitties but I have yet to accomplish that.... but it really is a lot of fun to see the felyne and poogie rodeo! O(≧▽≦)O

And if you pre-ordered the game, you got an adorable kitty pin! Both my boyfriend and myself got one and I love it! He says that the only reason I am really into this game is cause of the kitties....he might be right! ( ̄◇ ̄;)

Do you have Nintendo 2DS or 3DS?

See you soon!
