Self-Care Day: Flushing Trip

Hello Hello, Lil Buns!

Hope you all had a lovely day! I know I said I was going to blog about my day trip yesterday, but I was so exhausted by the time I got home. So here I am blogging about it today.

I woke up at my usual time 9.30 and caught up on my Insta feed. Then I got up, fed the bunnies and got ready. I actually got to doll up yesterday! I was so proud of my look. I wanna say it's more Gyaru-kei because it's borderline Larme...

Outfit Rundown
Hat: Offbrand
Sweater: Offbrand
Pants: Offbrand
Shoes: DreamV
Earrings: Kate Spade
Necklace: Offbrand

I was very happy about my make too! I think I'm getting better~

I finally left at about noon and got the bus pretty quickly. I was already getting hungry so my first stops were to get food and bubble tea.

I went to my favorite cafe, Tous les Jours and picked up some yummy buns. I got a custard, 2 curry, 1 kimchi and a sweet sausage one.

And I started heading over to one of the few Coco tea places while visiting a couple of the kawaii shops left in the area. I was trying to be so good and not buy anything I didn't need. I'm on a very tight budget now...

I got my usual 2 ladies drink; hot version for the cold weather. 2 Ladies is chocolate tea with both bubbles and pudding. It's so refreshing in the cold version for the warmer weather and so soothing in the hot version for the colder months!

After that, it was time to check out the mall and see what was new at the Sanrio store! But the only new thing was that it was no longer there! I looked all over the mall and was hoping they just relocated....but sadly, it's completely gone.

The Lunar New Year is approaching so everyone in the Flushing area is preparing for that. I saw these pretty decorations up at the mall already. At least that lifted my mood a little bit.

I decided to head back to the main streets and try to get what I actually went to Flushing for. There are still a good amount of 99¢ stores and kawaii shops with the most random things!

Amekaji seems to be getting popular~

Morning Glory shop~

Getting ready for Valentines Day!

I wanted these buns so bad but the smaller ones are still 16$!

Molang!

After a while, I started to notice it was getting colder and darker. But I managed to get all of the important things off my list minus 2 not so important things so that wasn't bad. And finally, I went to catch the bus. It took forever to catch one though because it was already the beginning of rush hour so all of the express buses were filling up the streets more than the one I needed Dx

For dinner, I had the sweet sausage bun with some curry rice I had made the night before with the custard bun for dessert.

Here are my gets!

I got this decent-sized mirror for 3$!
Unfortunately, part of the stand was broken so I am hoping krazy glue will keep it together!

Some very pretty nail sets! These designs are just perfect for some of the gyaru looks I'm going for!

And some supplies...
Don't worry, all will be revealed soon~

And that's my day!

Here's some photo spam of my look!

I even tried the new Meitu filter a little bit XD

This one is a sneak peek at my special review coming tomorrow! Look forward to it!

That's all for now! See you next time!
