Hello Hello, Lil Buns!
Hope you all had a great weekend! Just like it was posted on the Facebook page, I had to change my blogging schedule as my work schedule changed. So instead of Tuesdays and Thursdays, I'll now be posting on Mondays, Wednesdays and sometimes Fridays! And to start off with the new blogging schedule, I've got a new kawaii review for you today.
Roxie Sweetheart is an indie shop located in the UK. The designs are influenced by the kawaii lifestyle and JFashion; the artwork is just so bright and colorful! Everything is original and created by the owner of the shop - Roxie. With her amazing talent and love for kawaii, you'll find her work made into accessories and even clothing!
Check out some of my favorite pieces from the shop~
Roxie Sweetheart is always posting new goodies on their Facebook and Instagram pages. So make sure to give them a follow!
And now on to today's kawaii review~
A little while back, I saw this post.
My jaw dropped and I had to have it. I don't have many mermaid accessories cause I missed out on them or just didn't have the money at the time. But I had to make sure to get these. They're like jeweled prisms!
They remind me so much of the little seashells that were used to call the Sea Ponies in the original My Little Pony series!
I am extremely grateful and happy that I was allowed to get a set of a hairclip and earrings before their debut at Hyper Japan this weekend. Do any of you buns live there or plan on traveling to attend Hyper Japan?
I've never been but I hear it's an amazing and fun 3-day con of everything Japanese! So there will be food, concerts, fashion, anime (of course), art and so much more! Visit the Hyper Japan site to find out more info.
Here is the map to find Roxie Sweetheart's booth!
My order arrived within a week in this cute little box. It didn't take long at all in the post.
We're greeted with a Roxie Sweetheart flyer.
Here's all that came inside.
She was even sweet enough to put in a couple of snacks! The Candy Factory popping candy is basically like our Pop Rocks. They're Tutti-Fruity flavored and actually really good. The Rainbow Drops were like sweet puffed cereal. I felt like I needed some milk XD
Here's the flyer. On the back it has all of the social media links and the main website for the brand.
Here are my items! A hairclip and a pair of earrings. They were safely kept inside these pretty organza baggies.
First is the hair clip. It's a laser-cut mirrored acrylic design with beautiful sparkling gems along the top. It catches the light wonderfully and has a different look with every angle.
On the back, it's fashioned with an alligator clip and has the official Roxie Sweetheart tag.
Next are the gorgeous earrings.
The shells are smaller so they're not too heavy for the ears. They're finished with fishhook posts.
On the back, you can see the design repeated without the reflection.

Overall Rating
Roxie Sweetheart was in constant contact with me throughout my whole order. She's super sweet and let me know all of the info necessary for my order and post~! The price is just right for the items since they are an indie artist design and exclusive! (Yay!) Shipping was surprisingly not that bad and super fast, even coming from the UK. I was really happy about that! The quality is amazing! And everything is super easy and comfortable to wear!
I'll definitely be ordering from Roxie Sweetheart again in the future! Be sure to check them out at Hyper Japan!!!
Hope you liked my review!
That's all for now! See you next time!
