30 Day Anime Challenge: Day 3 - Favorite Male Character Ever [04-18-14]

Hiyo! How have you bunnies been? I think it's time for another post for the 30 Day Anime Challenge!

Day 3: Favorite Male Character Ever! 

If you would have asked me this question about 10 years ago, I would have automatically responded with:

Kurama from Yu Yu Hakusho

But after having watched other series with my boyfriend, he got me into quite a bit of series that I missed out on. I'm sure many of you know that I have a strong love for shounen series. I do like my romance but sometimes a good story about never giving up and friendship is good for you. So for my favorite male character, I chose:

Van from Zoids

When I got into Zoids, my boyfriend had me watch it from the very first series of Chaotic Century. I instantly fell in love with its charm. And the hero Van was all that I loved about shounen heroes. He was sweet and loyal, especially to his girlfriend Fiona but still had a strong passion and love for Zoids. He also has a really cute boyish charm even in the Guardian Forces series. He was heroic, never gave up and always did his best. What's not to love?!

Who is your favorite male character?
