Hope you're all doing well! I have a new project to share with all of you!
Have you ever wanted to learn something so bad because it's just something you know you had to create? That's how I've been with crocheting. It was so frustrating trying to learn from Youtube videos. Crochet is definitely one of those crafts that most people do better with a live tutor. Luckily one of my dearest friends decided to teach me! It really was so much easier learning with her and she's just so sweet and patient! It was also a very nice and relaxing day to hang out with her~ Because of my forever changing schedule at work, I never get to hang out with anyone so this was definitely a nice break.
And here it is! After many different swatches and practice pieces, I think I finally got down the basics! So now I'm trying to crochet a blanket using the Granny Square Pattern. Right now it's just about the size of my keyboard but I work at it when I can so hopefully it won't be too long before it can actually be used! And who knows, maybe with more practice, I can incorporate crochet into my works and sell them on my ♥ Etsy ♥ shop! What do you think?
Yay wow! I love crocheting! Actually I did use videos to help me learning crochet it is at least easier than using a book. Your granny square is beautiful! I've never bothered to crochet granny square though, I prefer to make 'real' things, although some people like making scarves out of granny squares. I like knitting scarves better than crocheting them but I stick with crochet when I make hats :)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for the compliment :) Now that I know how to crochet somewhat, I love it even more xD And I can read patterns a little, still wanna know how I got a 5 petal flower instead of a 6-pointed star XD I started with a granny square to work my way up to better stitches so I can do other things :) I want to make amigurumi someday!
