Kuma Crafts Review! ♥ Part 1 of 2 Reviews! { 4-15-2012 }

Not a bad replica right?! Isn't it awesome?! This gorgeous Eternal Sailor Moon brooch was created into a very gorgeous necklace by the one and only - Mandi at ♥ Kuma Crafts ♥. Mandi has a great shop over on ♥ Etsy ♥ and she has a lot of awesome and adorable stuff!

She has things that range from adorable kitties to cuddly pandas to awesome Sailor Moon items! There are earrings, necklaces, phone charms - all kinds of goodies! What I love most about her items is that she laser cuts them! Etsy has sellers that use all types of mediums but this is the first time I have ever seen stuff like this! And I have to say I absolutely love everything in her shop!

Isn't her stuff adorable?! Here I showed everything that I got in the package! I got the awesome necklace on her own designed backing in a protective plastic. She also included two cards with her contact info and some other awesome graphics! It was a very sweet package!

The necklace itself is laser cut acrylic. I never would have guessed, honestly.I didn't know that you could do so many things with the stuff! But it was done! Each part of the brooch is securely layered so it's not flat. It actually has a great depth to it (and not heavy at all). When I wear it, it feels like I've become Eternal Sailor Moon!

I believe the type of acrylic she used is "pearlescent acrylic". It gives it a beautiful sparkle and catches the light very well. It is carried by a nickel and lead-free chain and accented with Swarovski pearl rhinestones. Very nice touch!

I was so stunned and amazed when I opened the package. I am so very happy with my purchase that I will buy more things in the future! So everyone, please do check out her shop! Especially if you're a Moonie fan like me! (And if it were up to me, she should make Moonie official merch xD ) She now also has a Sailor Moon Compact - also very beautifully done!

A Very Cute Review for Ku-Ki Shop! ♥ { 4-1-2012 }

Hello all! Today will be a review on a very cute lil' shop! It's filled with lots of adorable handmade goodies!

The two items in the picture above come from a site called Ku-Ki Shop Aren't they adorable?! I'm sure you all know that I am a big Bunny fan so when I saw these, I knew I had to get them! And it just so happened that she was having a bogo sale so what better time to shop!

The first item is a very adorable set of Bunny Ice Cream Earrings! Aren't they just awesome?! Two very yummy-licious little ice cream cones with Bunny Ice Cream.I never knew ice cream could be so cute! They're made of polymer clay with hooks so no clipping involved. I rather like these more than with clips. Now I have never worked with polymer clay before but these are some of the sturdiest I have seen. I almost thought they were made out of an acrylic or something xD But they're absolutely adorable and since I have worn them, people complimented me and it made me so happy!

The next piece is a necklace called Wonderland Cupcake Necklace. 

It is a very cute combination of dessert and elements from Alice in Wonderland!It's a very creamy cupcake decorated with strawberrieswith a white rabbit, candy, a rose and some cards! As you can see in my picture, it sits very nicely as a necklace! 

I am very happy with my purchase and would highly recommend this site for cute handmade things. And for the work that goes into these items, the prices are just right! There are quite a few pieces that are made to order but there is also a section of "Ready to Ship" so that is always a plus! It's a really cute site and the owner is very good with communicating with the customer. Everything is easy to follow and you are guaranteed something amazingly adorable.

Convention Season - Getting Hot! { 3-25-2012 }

Hello all! Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend!A lot of big things are happening this year (I say this a lot don't I lol!)! I'll be opening my very first Etsy shop very soon as I kept mentioning on my Twitter. I am also planning to go to a few cons. I am definitely heading to Otakon and NY Comicon and still wondering about AnimeNext.

What is that top picture you ask? That's one of my cosplay that I will be doing for Otakon! I will be Natalia from Tales of the Abyss!I got the awesome outfit from a very nice cosplay site called My Love Cosplay I got mostly everything I needed! It came with the gloves, dress, arm bands, choker and the flower decoration. Not bad to get it custom-made either :3 Just need to get the shoes and wig and it will be done! 

As for the other two I have planned, I will also be redoing my Serah from Final Fantasy XIII from a few years ago!A dear friend and sister of mine, Shiro(シロ), who is also the owner of the pretty sweet blog Save The Lizard ★ Save The World  will be making her own Noel cosplay (Final Fantasy XIII-2) so we can do an awesome couple cosplay!We will also be doing Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt schoolgirl version! She will be making my skirt! (Which reminds me I need to get started on shopping for the rest of my Stocking stuff xD At least Serah is done :3 ) Can't wait to see it! X3

So, not only that, but I'll be meeting a few other people from the online games I play! That will be so exciting~ I will keep you guys posted and hopefully be able to post photos of me in my cosplay!

Spring is Here?! {3 - 18 - 2012}

Hello! Hope everyone has been doing well! For those of you on this side of the world, things have been happening!The sun has been shining more and outside has been feeling a lot nicer and warmer! Animal parents everywhere are getting prepared for their young ones to be born. And I've been working diligently to get things going for my sites!

It's so exciting~ I have my Etsystarted, my Facebook page is getting closer to being completed and my Twitter is booming with activity.Spring is a special time not only for the winter to be over and live starting up again, but I will have a bunch of surprises too! So be sure to watch out for my updates!

I'm sure a lot of you have noticed that I love bunnies. My own online ID is also becoming bunny-oriented! Isn't it cute?!So you will definitely see my blog change as I get more stuff done for my sites! As for the cute bunny couple above - that's a little something I picked up from this store closing! It's so sad to see the store closing. It's been there since even before I was born. And that's a long time ~But I guess everyone is affected in some way. I managed to pick up this cute little bunny couple for a good price and it was the last one! I felt so lucky! I have always wanted Calico Critters so this was a blessing in disguise.

 

Also, has anyone been having trouble with their Google Friend Connect? Mine won't show up at all, no matter how many times I reinstall it. I see other blogs have no trouble. Strange...
