Dinner Date Outfit Planning~!

Hello Hello, Lil Buns!

I'm so excited about today; I'm going out for dinner with two very dear friends of mine that I hardly get to see. I wasn't able to see them for my birthday so we're finally going to hang out! It's going to be a lot of fun and we have so much catching up to do!

Of course, I plan to dress up in Gyaru. It's more of a Himekaji style outfit. I originally wanted to wear a dress or skirt but the wind is just too fierce today. So pants it is.

Outfit Rundown
Hat: Offbrand
Outer Top: Offbrand
Tank Top: Liz Lisa
Pants: Offbrand
Shoes: Liz Lisa
Earrings: Kate Spade
Necklace: Kuma Crafts
Bag: Sanrio (bought through Kawaii Gyaru Shop; review to come soon!)

Later on Insta, I'll post a pic of my make and hairstyle.

Until then, I'm gonna' try to finish up a few things in preparation for my shop's big announcement tomorrow! Look forward to it~

That's all for now! See you next time!

When You Gotta Make Food...

Hello Hello, Lil Buns!

It was another blah day today. I've been trying to visit Flushing all week but the weather has been so crummy. Today, I could only go to the nearby supermarket for some quick items. Some of them for a recipe I wanted to try.

I'm sure you guys all probably know by now I own 3 bunnies! And supplies aren't cheap. Especially when they're all female and don't want to get along with each other. So that's 3 sets of everything.

Even their favorite treats are between 3$ and 5$! So that adds up...

I searched online and found this awesome recipe on the House Rabbit Society website!

You'll need:
1 small carrot, pureed
1/2 banana, mashed until really creamy
1 tbsp honey
1/4 cup rabbit pellets, ground finely in a coffee grinder
1/4 cup ground oats, ground finely in a coffee grinder

Mix pureed carrot, banana and honey in a medium bowl. Add pellet powder and ground oats. Mix until blended. Knead in your hands for 1-2 minutes. Roll out the "dough" in 1/8- to 1/4-inch thick layers between sheets of plastic wrap. Cut into small cookies (about 3/4 inch across). Place cut shapes onto a parchment paper covered cookie sheet. Bake at 325 degrees for about 30 minutes (check to make sure they are not browning too much). Turn off the heat and let the cookies sit in the warm oven for an hour or so.

And here's how mine turned out! I had a little trouble with the carrot puree because I've never done it before but it still made a decent "dough". It even looks like the treats I would buy for them. This should save me some money. And the buns loved it!

And speaking of bunnies, did you know that it's My Melody's birthday today?!

For dinner, I made some fried tofu. For some reason, I was craving it. Last time I tried to make it, it didn't work out too well. But it cooked perfectly this time! What do you think?

Tomorrow, I hope the weather will be better and I can finally go to Flushing. I'll probably blog about that tomorrow!

That's all for now! See you next time!
