Long time no blog! I haven't been doing much these days. The highlight of these last few days was basically the update to my shop....haven't been really going out much either. The winter time always turns me into a hermit!

But finally yesterday, my mom and I went out to do some much-needed shopping. 

First we went to 5 Below where I found some really cute goodies for 5$ or less!

Here is all that I got~

The storage cube is to put all of my crafting pieces in one spot. Which it did a pretty good job of. I also got my favorite Cadbury mini eggs and caramel eggs! Yum~

I tried getting new headphones to talk to my darling and hopefully hear him better but these suck ><

The store is also getting a ton of Tsum Tsum goodies! I chose to get this adorable nail set! My fingers are actually pretty small so these will fit perfectly~


Then after we went food shopping and we stopped off to get gas. So I messed around with with the Snow app hehe...

Kinokuniya Trip and Gets! (PIC HEAVY)

Yesterday, I decided to make a quick trip to the Japanese bookstore Kinokuniya. It's a great place if you're into kawaii culture, Japan and anime/manga. It was my go-to place while EGG magazine (RIP) was still in production. But since then, it's where I go to for Popteen, manga and other goodies.

Forgive the quality of some of these shots...sometimes the lighting isn't that great in this room but it's better than my bedroom. DX

Okay, so I have quite a few. As I said in my last post, I got to meet up with some dear friends last night to celebrate my birthday! We met up in Manhattan in the evening for some dinner. It had a rocky start because it was the middle of rush hour so lots of train delays....

But we all finally made it to the place we were originally going to eat at. But it was so tiny and there weren't many seats left for the four of us. So we decided to check out other places. We found this awesome place called Poke just a few doors down and it was already nicer. It was modern, clean and just quiet enough that we could actually enjoy ourselves.

I got the Kimchi Rice Bowl with a fried egg on top.

It was so good!

We sat for a while to chat before heading out for dessert.

Have you seen these online? They're beautiful flowers made with Gelato!

The place we went to is called Amorino.

It's a cute little cafe with several locations around the world with all kinds of yummy goodies. They have flavors like Chocolate, Raspberry, Salted Caramel and Dulce de Leche to name a few.

I got the medium size flower cone with Tiramisu as the center and Stracciatella as the petals. Isn't it gorgeous?!

We hung around there just chatting and having a good time until closing time. We took a cab home. It was so much fun. I really needed the break. I hope I have more fun outings like this more often.
