My Birthday!

It's my birthday today!

I didn't really have any plans though. It was just a normal day for me. My mom did have the day off because she has to work this weekend. So it was mostly doing random errands with her.

Even though I wasn't going anywhere special, I still dressed up. Lashes weren't working with me today so please excuse my very light make.

I was originally going to wear another Liz Lisa piece but it was just too cold today.
It was about 36°F!

Our first stop was at the post office to pick up a parcel. From there we headed to Dollar Tree where I had to let go of so many L.A. Colors makeup! Doing my best to save until I get paid next week.

Then we headed over to Panera for some yummy lunch!

I got my usual Broccoli and Cheddar soup in a gorgeous sourdough bread bowl. The cashier thought it was funny that I wanted extra bread as my side. I know that when you eat in, they don't give you the top to the bread bowl.

We then headed over to the supermarket where I picked up my favorite Annie's bunny snacks and some Starbucks coffee.

I got the Caramel Brulée Latte! It was so good and perfect for the cold weather.

Finally, we went to the bakery to pick up my cake and headed home.

In the evening, my family sang "Happy Birthday" and we had the cake! It's chocolate cannoli with chocolate covered cannoli on top. So yummy!

It was pretty quiet and uneventful but most of my loved ones wished me happy birthday. And it made me realize that maybe birthdays are what you make it. It doesn't have to be a day filled with tons of events or never-ending food. As long as one person even remembers your special day, it's a great birthday.

New Makeup Palette and Bunny Stuff!

Hello Hello, Lil Buns!

It's Friday! Yay! And finally end of 2016! Double yay!

I have to work on Sunday so I really can't party but oh well...

This week is my birthday and I'm actually kind of meh about it. A lot of my friends are going to anime and videogame cons so I don't know if anyone will be around to hang out with. Especially since I work only one day this week...

But it is what it is, I guess.

I decided to treat myself to a new makeup palette. It's from Physician's Formula, a cruelty-free brand with many pretty products. But they tend to be pricey so I don't really buy unless there's a sale.

I even made a small video to show how each color glistens in the light.
It can also supposedly be used as eyeliner when activated with a liquid. I've never had makeup that does that so this will be interesting.

A friend of mine that I don't get to see often (different working schedules) gave me adorable gifts for Christmas, too! She knows about my love for Sailor Moon and Gyaru fashion. We're also both artists. I got the Sailor Moon Pop Figure, an awesome bag and a sweet mug (not pictured) that says "Do What You Love".

We're doing our best and encourage each other a lot. So the mug is really sweet and motivating for me.

Yesterday, my mom received a package in the mail from Kate Spade (a really nice but expensive brand best known for their purses). There were two items inside and both were for me! One was a late Christmas gift and the other was supposed to be for my birthday but since they arrived together, she let me have it early.

They had a full line of adorable bunny themed items! And my mom got me these adorable pieces. A pair of bunny earrings and a cute and fluffy bunny puff bag charm!

They're so cute and just perfect!

Free Talk Fridays/Sweet Sunday Mix-up! 1 - 15 - 2012

I really have to stop doing thisI got really tired from the big work week, getting products done for the upcoming weeks and things like that, that I don't get to post on Fridays like I'm supposed to. :( I will try harder this coming week! I promise!

Anyhoo, as promised, I will be talking about a skirt I got and the inspiration it brought me.

 I know this post is running a little late in both when I was supposed to post and that it's late in the evening but I figured since it did spark inspiration and I am off tomorrow, I say why not! :3

It's always so exciting when I order from Sweet Suzette Her packages always arrive very safely and it's always a pleasure ordering from her :3 I can't wait for the new hat I ordered! ^o^ (Of course I will have to make that one of my posts as soon as I get it!)

As you can see in the following pictures, it's an Alice in Wonderland theme!It's a very sweet striped skirt in reds and pinks with white trimmings and lace. The print itself has very beautiful images of Alice, the White Rabbit, Cheshire Cat, the deck of cards and the caterpillar on the mushroom! There is also a detachable waist bow held by cute little red heart buttons. All brought together with a very lovely and intricate lace trim at the bottom. It also has some elasticity in the waist band for any Loli that might be bigger (like me xD ) So please take a look at the pictures :3 (You can click on them to see at a bigger size!)

  

 

I must say I am very happy with it. And it's my first Loli piece in clothing! So that definitely adds to my excitement.  Thankies so much, Suzette! And I'm very excited and anticipating for the hat I ordered! I can't wait!

Oh and remember when I said this was inspiration to me? Well, seeing as how I am buying more and more things from fellow bloggers, I have already begun to make some hair accessories! I will make sure to put in a few sneak peek pics. But I don't want to give my ideas away until the store is open! So please wait for that! :3

Also, my birthday was a couple of weeks ago! Thought I might end this post with a picture of one of the cakes I got xD Isn't it gorgeous? :3 It's so yummy too! Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream with Devil's Food cake. Yum Yum
