30 Day Loli Challenge! Day 1 – 10 Things About Your Lolita Bubble [05-07-2013]

 Hi Bunnies!

Today, I wanted to start a series of posts to participate in the "30 Day Lolita Challenge". You'd be able to learn a little about me and I can post more. I've been doing a overhaul for a lot of things so I thought it would be a nice little break!

{Lolita Blog Carnival} WEEK 3: 3 Prints You Would Like to See [10-12-2012]

Happy Friday, lil bunnies! It's almost the weekend and that means another post for the Lolita Blog Carnival! I am really loving the community. Everyone is so nice and we have really great discussion ideas for our blogs. This week's discussion is.....

"3 Prints You Would Like to See"

I thought a lot about this because I wanted to choose prints that have never been done before. At least I hope they haven't been. Though I'm sure at least one of them really hasn't.

1. Gentleman Bunnies
This may sound weird but I've always loved the idea of cute fuzzy bunnies dressed up in vintage suits, top hats and maybe even throw in a monocle. I don't know why I really want this as a print but in my mind, it just sounds adorable. And with the right accessories or pieces, you could probably even play up the gentleman look. I would totally get a OP or a skirt of this!

2. Little Twin Stars
For as long as I can remember, I've been a big fan of these adorable Sanrio characters. Kiki and Lala have to be the cutest twins I've ever seen and they would definitely make a sweet print. I mean, you could probably even take some of the wallpapers that Sanrio makes of them and turn them into a dress! They just scream Lolita.

3. Rainbow Brite Star Sprinkles
Stars and Lolita have been together for a very long time. And there are many variations on star prints. But am I the only one that would love to see these stars specifically? They're simple but I think if you find a way to include their brilliant shine into the print, I think they would be perfect for something like a JSK or maybe even a tiered skirt. And we could even add in the color belt as a trim!

If anyone is a dress maker and into Lolita, please check out these ideas of mine and some of the other Lolita bloggers at LBC so we can make at least one of these dreams come true! I would totally want these coords. Wouldn't you?

Don't forget to see what some of our bloggers have posted on this topic as well:

Picking Up the Pieces of My Childhood [10-01-2012]

Believe it or not, when I was little, I was a tomboy. I never liked Barbie and I always wanted to play with things like Transformers and Power Rangers. But there were always a few toys that caught my eye. Things like magical girls that had the power of colors or ponies that could talk and save the world.I actually collected some of the dolls (wish I still had them too). Some of the dolls like The Fairies of Cottingley Glen (pictured above) were some of my favorites.  I'm really happy I can collect them again and actually hold onto them this time! What are your favorite toys growing up?
