Special Shoutout Post! 1 - 22 - 2012

Hiyo all! Hope you all have had a great week! I've been having an interesting week at work. ^^; Apparently I was working too much so they had to change my schedule that I would be starting early but I will still be doing 8 hours a day unless I'm asked by my boss to stay after. And as much as I love working there, I wish it wasn't on Fridays when she would ask.

Oh well, anyway, I am still trying to figure out the best posting schedule for this blog. >.< I seem to work better on this when I only post 2 days a week. So let's see how that goes. Wednesdays will not be touched and it will remain "What's In The Box Wednesdays". Sundays will be my free day. Of course every so often it will be about what inspirations I have but I also would like to discuss other things as well. So we will see.

I'm sure you're all wondering what that would make this post about. Especially with the title. xD Well, I have just learned, not that long ago, that one of my very dear friends has started up a blog on Blogger! I'm so excited! Especially since it will be about things that she loves!

Her online alias, which she likes to go by normally is Shiro(シロ). But I usually call her sis. :)We met at Otakon a couple of years ago and it was so funny because we had both dressed up as Final Fantasy XIII characters. She was Lightning and I was Lightning's sister, Serah. So it worked out perfectly!

And ever since then, we have been great friends! She has just started up her Blogger blog so please be sure to visit her! ♥ chocobocolina ♥

We Interrupt This "What's In The Box Wednesday" For An Important Post...

Hi all! Hope everyone is doing well! I know today is usually when I do "What's In The Box Wednesday" but today is a bit of a special post. Today I took the bunnies for their first checkup at a very nice vet called Catnip & Carrots!

It's a very nice vet office not too far from where I live that specializes in, yep, you guessed it - Cats and Rabbits! They're all so sweet in there and extremely helpful! It was Snow and Boo's first checkup so I was really nervous! The doctor looked over the both of them (one at a time of course xD ) and taught my mom and me a lot about rabbits! She even has a few herself ^-^ So I knew that my babies were in good hands.

With each, she and her assistant handled them with care, checking their bodies, teeth, listened to their heartbeats and even told me.......................

They're girls! 

I was so surprised to find out that my babies are girls! But I'm also glad that the names I chose could be used by either gender xD The doctor also gave me a packet of everything I need to know to keep my girls happy so they will be healthy.

So it all worked out in the end. They're healthy and I have a great vet to trust them with. I will be going back in early spring so I can get them spayed. Spaying and neutering your pets is very important! It prevents overpopulation and it helps your pet live a longer and healthier life with you! So please be sure to do that if you haven't already!

And I am really happy with this vet! It's a very nice place and I know I can go there anytime I have a question or I need help. I can even pick up cute little treats or toys if they have some around. I will definitely post pictures of the girls in case you missed my previous post on them. ^-^

Because if these bills pass, all of our favorite sites and blogs will be in trouble =( So please! Do your part and contact your congressman/congresswoman and tell them they need to vote no! Special Post - New Year's Edition! :3

Well, today is the last post and last day of 2011. This year seemed to have zoomed by. I'm glad and I'm not glad that it did. But I must say it did end on a good note :3

Lost some weight so I'm closer to my weight goal

Entering 2nd year with my boyfriend

Even though I had to put down my first rabbit, my family got me two babies that I love very much

2011 is the year of the Rabbit (which makes the bunny situation even more awesome! xD )

It's a short list but I am happy that they happened. And I hope 2012 will be "THE YEAR" that I get all of my goals and wishes achieved. And I hope the same goes for everyone as well.
