 Happy Halloween My Bunnies!

As I'm sure everyone has heard, the East Coast sure had a bad time these last couple of days. Some states even postponed Halloween! Hope everyone is ok and is getting their life back!

My job is actually one of the places effected by the "Frankenstorm" and has been closed even for today! I hope everything is ok but I still would like the whole week off. Where I work and plenty of other places are still flooded, have no power and there are big messes everywhere. Luckily, our area was ok and we kept power.

At work, we were going to have lots of Halloween activities going - even a costume contest so we could even dress up for work! But since work is closed, I decided to dress up at home. My idea was to make an awesome excuse to dress how I really want to dress everyday. So I called it "80s Teenager" (though it's really Fairy Kei).It's one good way to take the mind off of the mess the hurricane left.

So what do you think? I decided to keep it simple but cute. And it still kinda has a Halloween theme to it. Here is the rundown:

This is my first time putting together a full Fairy Kei outfit. But I think it came out rather cute - don't you think? Sorry about the odd background. I took the photos myself and had to use the best mirrors in the house. In my bathroom!

Hope you like the photos and my coord! And I hope that anyone that is going out Trick or Treating - please be careful. Go in groups, go in well-lit areas. Play it smart.

Convention Season - Getting Hot! { 3-25-2012 }

Hello all! Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend!A lot of big things are happening this year (I say this a lot don't I lol!)! I'll be opening my very first Etsy shop very soon as I kept mentioning on my Twitter. I am also planning to go to a few cons. I am definitely heading to Otakon and NY Comicon and still wondering about AnimeNext.

What is that top picture you ask? That's one of my cosplay that I will be doing for Otakon! I will be Natalia from Tales of the Abyss!I got the awesome outfit from a very nice cosplay site called My Love Cosplay I got mostly everything I needed! It came with the gloves, dress, arm bands, choker and the flower decoration. Not bad to get it custom-made either :3 Just need to get the shoes and wig and it will be done! 

As for the other two I have planned, I will also be redoing my Serah from Final Fantasy XIII from a few years ago!A dear friend and sister of mine, Shiro(シロ), who is also the owner of the pretty sweet blog Save The Lizard ★ Save The World  will be making her own Noel cosplay (Final Fantasy XIII-2) so we can do an awesome couple cosplay!We will also be doing Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt schoolgirl version! She will be making my skirt! (Which reminds me I need to get started on shopping for the rest of my Stocking stuff xD At least Serah is done :3 ) Can't wait to see it! X3

So, not only that, but I'll be meeting a few other people from the online games I play! That will be so exciting~ I will keep you guys posted and hopefully be able to post photos of me in my cosplay!

Did You Miss Me? 2 - 5 - 2012

Hi all!

As you all know, life has been going a bit crazy here. Mostly with work of course. But I think that is slowly subsiding for now...A few projects were held up so they won't be coming out as soon as we thought....oh well...

How is everyone enjoying their Superbowl weekend? I was supposed to go out today to get more hair clip supplies but my coworker cancelled at the last moment.Well at least this gives me a chance to make a long overdue post! I'm sure all of the gamers know that Final Fantasy XIII-2 came out! I was so excited! I even got my own copy for XBOX 360! (Special Edition of course!) And since I purchased it from Best Buy, I was able to get the little Episode I novella book!

Isn't it a beautiful set?! I loves it and I can't put the game down! Forget the Superbowl, FFXIII is the best place to be right now xD The special edition includes the 4-disc soundtrack, a mini art book and the nice sleek box to keep everything in it! Depending where you purchased the game itself, you would get a free gift. I think Gamestop and Amazon had downloadable content codes, Best Buy had the book (which is in the picture with Lightning's face) and I think the Square-Enix website/Twitter had a contest for more downloadable content. 

I was one of those people that actually liked the first game.But there were a few things that I wish weren't included but I still found it a great game. Though I'm pretty sure all of the fans that disliked the first game are in love with the sequel. And I hear there is going to be a third and final sequel so we shall see o.o; 

My store opening is looking pretty good for Spring! I keep saying that over my Twitter xD I so can't wait for that! I have begun to make bows so I can have some variety besides my Fairy Kei fuzzy clippies.

And finally, I think I am back on schedule for my blog. I will try not to let that happen again. And I'm going to try to plan my posts ahead so all I have to do is just hit publish. Hopefully that will work.
