Not So Boring Sunday {2 - 19 - 2012}

Hi all! It's the Sunday of a 3-day weekend (for some!) so tomorrow I am happy to say I get to stay home tomorrow!It will be nice since this past Friday, I didn't get home till about 9:30 PM

It wasn't too bad for what the reason was, which was getting the workplace set up for the company's Big Four-Oh this year but it would have been nice to get a ride home since I didn't have to stay to help if I didn't want to.Oh well...not much I can do now since it's a couple of days later. I just hope it won't become a habit. Especially since I don't drive and need to take a bus.

Enough complaining.Recently, I finally got in touch with an old friend and we spent the whole day together! Originally, it was just supposed to be brunch but since her evening plans were canceled and her hubby wanted to rest from a full night of work (he's a cop!), we went shopping!

We had such a great time! First we went to this really nice new restaurant that has brunch for most of the day! My friend had orange juice and a Greek omelet. It was really tasty and even had fries in it! I never had one like that but it was really good.I had, for the first time ever since I didn't even know such a thing existed....French Toast a la mode! It was amazing! It even had caramel on it.And of course I had a cup of coffee.

Then, when we were done, we headed down the street to all of these awesome little shops. She found a cute little hair clip that wasn't too gaudy or too cheap looking and it was pretty!

And of course we had to stop by the Victoria's Secret!One can never have too many pretty undergarments. Hee~ Even my friend bought some very nice things! And then from there, we went to a place called Martha's Bakery....Oh man, was that amazing! It was like finding out what heaven is like.My friend had a regular hot chocolate and a red velvet cupcake (which was amazing!) and I had a white hot chocolate with a hazelnut/chocolate cupcake! (which was also amazing!) Then after, on the way back to the train, I stopped by the pet store to get some toys for my little bunnies. They're so cute, they have no idea what to do with hay huts.

So all in all, it was a great day! I love going out to have fun. :) How did you spend your Sunday?

Cuddles & Kisses,

~ Kieli ~
