Moon Crystal Power, Make Up! ~ Starlight Deco Dream Review [10-24-2012]

(^▽^)/What's In the Box Wednesdays\(^▽^)

Hey there, bunnies! With all the buzz about a new Sailor Moon anime, the shoujo world has been going crazy. The great thing is that long time fans will now have their chance to collect memorabilia they may have missed or they can get the new items. Thanks to it being a world release, everyone can get Sailor Moon goodies! Even fans are making beautiful pieces!

I'm sure you've heard of the lovely shop - ♥ Starlight Deco Dream ♥ owned by the sweet Kyandi! This awesome shop has things for all of your Mahou-Kei and Fairy-Kei accessory needs. You can find Spank! inspired goodies, kawaii 80s style earrings and even some Sailor Moon inspired things! This was my first time buying from her shop and I just had to get her Sailor Moon R Necklace.

My order came in this pretty bag tied with a ribbon and covered in stars. I love the fact that the packaging is related to the name. I can never stress it enough how important packaging is even compared to a shop's brand.

Inside the bag, I found two cards, the box and original art sticker! The two cards have different ways you can find and contact Kyandi. Both feature really cute art and cute font. Makes me want to do some really cute business cards! The sticker has super cute design and coloring. I wish I had her wig!

In the box, we have my necklace! It has a beautiful shine. It's Sailor Moon's brooch made out of laser cut acrylic with acrylic jewel accents. It is exactly how Sailor Moon's brooch actually looks! I love how the gold parts are reflective and the pink shines like a pearl. Like the real brooch, each gem for the inner scouts surround what would be the gem representing Sailor Moon. It's hung from a strong gold-colored chain and is actually quite large with a good weight to it. It takes up most of my hand!

I am very happy with my order. It's perfect for any Mahou-Kei coord or fan of shoujo and it's an exact replica to the real thing. You can find more Sailor Moon pieces as well as cute Fairy Kei accessories in her shop. And for long-time anime fans, she's a big fan of Creamy Mami! Super sweet and into fashion and anime - what more could one ask for!

Thank you, Kyandi! I will be ordering from you again in the future!

What's In the Box Wednesday: Roxie Sweetheart Review [10-03-2012]

(^▽^)/What's In the Box?\(^▽^)

Hi little bunnies! This post is a little late but I am finally getting through my backlog of reviews! Being sick doesn't help when you're trying to write up posts.

Anyhoo - inside the today is a cute jewelry set I bought from a lovely shop in the UK ~ ♥ Roxie Sweetheart ♥! If you're into cute Harajuku Japanese style, this is definitely a place to shop at. Here, you'll find things like big brightly colored bows, adorable brooches and sweet bunny jewelry like the ones I bought.

First, I have to talk about the sweet packaging. Roxie Sweetheart's logo and mascot is this really cute pink-haired girl with lots of curl! Even the bags that the pieces came in remind me of sweet candy. I love how they were held closed with pretty Roxie Sweetheart designed stickers.

The necklace I got is something I always wanted. I have a thing for bird cages but I also love bunnies. This is a great combination of the two! There are three little white bunnies with bright pink eyes. Two of them look like they're trying to get the third one out of its cage. Such naughty bunnies! Decorating the cage are several pink hearts and a little strawberry. The chain that the cage hangs from is pretty long but it's super comfy to wear and there's even a little acrylic heart hanging from it with the Roxie Sweetheart logo text.

I also got a matching bunny ring! It's a fluffy white bunny puff with cute little ears and eyes sitting on a gold-colored adjustable ring. Isn't it adorable? I really like how the bunnies are designed in this shop.

I do have to admit I had a little trouble ordering because of me ordering on the phone and I tend to have bad luck shopping on that.Ha ha! But I had no worries, I emailed the shop and got help right away. Roxie Sweetheart gives great and super helpful service. And they have amazing stuff! It was definitely a nice experience ordering from them!

Thank you, Roxie Sweetheart! I'm definitely a fan and will be ordering again in the future!

Sailor Moon Renewed My Love for Anime [ 09-24-2012 ]

Wow, it really feels like it's been forever since I posted! But no worries - I am still alive! Just been dealing with being borderline sick and having horrible allergies. But I am going to take a day to rest tomorrow and also work on my upcoming "What's In the Box Wednesday". Not too long ago, I made a nice order for me and my boyfriend from Circle Red. It was just as GE Animation had finally announced that their ♥ Sailor Moon Carillion Necklace ♥ (which sadly does not open but it's a very nice necklace to wear). I didn't want to waste a good opportunity so I had my boyfriend add to the order. For him, we ordered The Legend of Zelda and Transformers belt buckles and the Trigun Wolfwood necklace. For myself, I got the Sailor Moon necklace and the Fairy Tail Happy bag! Not a bad haul, right?

Sweet Sunday: Gingermelon Patterns [ 09-16-2012 ]

SweetSunday!

Hi bunnies! Sorry today's post is a little late but I've been busy cleaning and rearranging my room to give my own little bunnies more play space! It's still in progress but I had to quit for the day because it's so late. Anyhoo, as you all know I was working really hard for a couple of months on a baby shower gift for my boss. The picture above is the finished gift! What do you think?

I've never made dolls before but the pattern packet I bought from Shelly worked out really well for me. Shelly owns the Etsy shop ♥ Gingermelon ♥. If you're like me and wanted to try to make dolls but too scared to try - make sure to check out Shelly's shop. She gives you very easy to follow instructions and she even gives her own recommendations on materials. It's all thanks to her that I was able to do this for my boss (who LOVED the dolls!).Thank you so much, Shelly! I'll definitely be buying more patterns in the future!

Until Next Time~

Adventures in KawaiiLand: Ciali in KawaiiLand Review! [ 08-29-2012 ]

Hi, bunnies! It's that time again! What's in the box today?(Fair warning - I might use the words cute, kawaii and adorable a lot in this post xD )

This sweetie lives all the way in Italy and makes just as sweet jewelry and accessories. Her rings, necklaces and earrings all resemble cute things like bunnies and cookies and very delicious looking cupcakes. She is ♥ Ciali in KawaiiLand ♥! (That is the English version to her shop's site. Of course, she also has an Italian version of her site)

For the longest time, I have wanted to own some of her work and I finally got the chance to! Since it was the middle of convention season, I caught her at the right time just as she was making many more goodies to sell. I got quite the haul!

I was able to get a few necklaces, a couple of bracelets, two pairs of earrings and about four yummy-looking rings! She was so very nice to work with. And I even got a free gift!

Now, I know a lot of the people I follow or buy from come from all different art backgrounds but I seldom see graphic designers. I appreciate that she is one and her sites look great. Everything is just too adorable and her hard work shows.

The packaging is another thing I love - very pastel and kawaii, just like the things she makes. I was really happy with the tiny purple stars confetti that dressed up the little packages even more. The first things I opened were the rings I chose. Almost all of her pieces are made with polymer clay and silicone "icing".

I got a lilac bunny cookie, a violet shooting star creme and cookies, a lime green bow creme and cookie, and a very cute pastel rainbow. All of the cookie rings are tall layers with alternating cookie and creme. On the top, there is more creme with different decorations. As you can see, I had to get one of the rings with a bunny. The rainbow ring is the only one that is not layered but still just cute as the rest of them. Each ring comes in their own little gift box with a bright bow.

Next is a pair of candy-looking earrings. These remind me of multicolored twisty marshmallows.Three different colored pieces of polymer clay twist in a spiral up to little yellow stars which are then connected to fish hook earrings. My friends are always tempted to eat them xD

I also got these very delicious-looking macaron earrings. They're pastel blue with little pink bows and white creme in the middle.

The first of the necklaces is a very Fairy-Kei piece. It's a silver chain holding a baby blue rocking horse and a polymer clay rainbow with clouds and a star. I never saw a necklace put together like that but I love it. I wear it often!

The next necklace is actually very similar to the rings I bought. Except this one is an actual cupcake. It's a pink cupcake with lilac icing with a lot of whip cream and star cookies with of course a lot of glitter. And just in case you found yourself really wanting to eat it, there is even a tiny spoon hanging from the silver chain as well.

Another necklace in this batch is more like a set along with one of the bracelets I got. First, the necklace is a long black chain with two little pastel blue stars on either side of a black bunny face. The bracelet has the same bunny but with a rainbow, a lightning bolt, a little moon and a heart all on a baby pink plastic chain.

Another "set" is also from Ciali's macaron section. I got two bracelets, one with regular rounded macarons in different colors and another has heart-shaped ones with mini stars in between. The necklace mimics the bracelet with the star-shapes and mini hearts in between.

Of course, I couldn't go without a hair accessory! One of my favorite shapes is the star so I was really excited when I could get a cute little shooting star for my hair. Like all of the other pieces in my order, it is made out of polymer clay. The tail has blue, pink and yellow while the star itself is yellow with a super adorable smiling face.

And finally, my free gift! I thought it was so sweet of her~ It turned out to be a cupcake necklace! It's a very good sized polymer clay cupcake with purple icing and sprinkles. It sits on a silver chain with 6 little stars in similar colors.

I'm so happy that I finally got KawaiiLand stuff! It's very easy to work with her, she makes it a totally fun and painless experience and you get very awesome jewelry that is perfect for any Lolita.

Thank you so much, Ciali! I will definitely be shopping there again!

 Until Next Time~
