My Favorite: Bags

Hello Hello, Lil Buns!

Winter is definitely here! It snowed last night but only a couple of inches. I'm so glad it wasn't that much!

Today I wanted to start a series, maybe a weekly one or monthly, not sure yet. It's called
"My Favorite". I'll pick one type of item that I own and show you a bit of my collections and which one(s) are my fave!

Today's subject is...
Bags

Like every person that's into fashion, you need a coordinating bag, right? In the Gyaru and Lolita fashions especially, there are tons of kawaii bags. It's really hard to not want everything. XD

Here are the bags that I use the most!

Puddle Bunny Bag from Sugar Bunny Shop
This is a great bag for my more casual days or when I just need to carry a lot more items. Plus it's a design with uber fat bunnies! What's not to love?

3-Way Bag from DreamV
DreamV/Yumetenbo has always been one of my go-to shops for Himekaji style items. Especially for shoes and bags! This bag can be used as a rucksack, an over the shoulder bag and a handbag.

My Melody Canvas bag from Sanrio
Now that the Sanrio global site is carrying more things that would only be found on their Japanese site, I can find a ton of merch from my favorite characters like My Melo! I love to use this bag with my lighter coords in the spring~

Lovely Rabbit bag from Spreepicky
I think this bag is an adorable accessory but not very good with space. I can only really carry a small coin purse, my phone and maybe 2-3 makeup items. It works really well with Lolita and even Fairy Kei. Maybe if I can do more Pastel Gyaru, I can incorporate it as well~

Quilted Rucksack
I love this bag! It's pretty roomy and it's still nice enough for a casual or a slightly more dressed up coord! This was a gift from a dear friend.

Sailor MoonxSamantha Vega Replica from Syndrome Store
It looks like an exact copy of the original - even down to the lining. I am a little sad that my locker at work messed up the handles but it's a great little bag. It's subtle enough to go anywhere with!

Fluffy My Melody Purse from eBay
I fell in love with this purse when I first saw Sui Princess with it in one of her old hime photos. It's so soft and fluffy, it works with any fuwa fuwa style! I'm sure you can still find it on eBay but here are some just as cute alternatives!

XOXO Handbag
I got this bag a long time ago but it's still in great condition! I use it a lot with my dressier coords.

Check Rose Tote Bag
My first Liz Lisa bag! It has so much room and pockets. The print is beautiful! It's my most prized favorite in my collection~

Hope you enjoyed! What are your favorite bags that you own? I'd love to hear!

That's all for now! See you next time!

Kawaii Review: Sailor Moon Wallet from Spreepicky!

Hiyo lil bunnies!

I have another exciting kawaii review for you buns today! I placed this order about 2 weeks ago and it finally arrived yesterday!

Sailor Moon Wallet from Spreepicky

Now, I know there are a lot of you out there that say never to buy anything other than the original but there are a few reasons why I chose this one. The first being, I definitely cannot afford a real Samantha Vega item. The original designs are beautiful but are waaaayyyy out of my price range. Two - I do not buy anything that is made from an animal. Yes, I do eat meat but that is food. I don't need a purse or wallet made out of an animal to survive. And three - even if I could do reasons 1 and 2, they still sold out pretty quickly.

But in any case, I'm super happy that I could get this one from Spreepicky! In the shop, I could pick the regular one or the higher quality one. Of course I went with higher quality. I got a shipping confirmation email 5 days after the order confirmation. But thanks to the horrible hurricane as well as getting a package from overseas, I didn't get my wallet till yesterday. Can't complain too much though, it arrived in perfect condition!

Here is the package as I received it.

And what I got inside:

A sweet hand-written note on a very nice Sailor Moon postcard, my wallet in a cute baggy, a Spreepicky business card and a free gift of a pair of earrings! They look like Sailor Mercury's!

My wallet!

There are different versions you can get of the Sailor Moon series wallets! You can get: Sailor Moon (the one I chose), Sailor Chibimoon (pink or purple), Sailor Mercury, Sailor Mars, Sailor Jupiter, Sailor Venus, and a dark pink.

The details are amazing on this wallet! Up close, where the bow is, you can see each of the Senshi's gems in the brooch, just like the real Sailor Moon's brooch! The PU leather is clean cut and has beautiful color. The stitching is done without flaw!

I love the little detail of the collab logo and the crescent moon on the main zipper.

Inside, there is a ton of room with lots of pockets!

Essentially there are 12 card pockets, 2 pockets for paper money with even a little extra room to spare. And then there's the coin purse section in the very middle which has its own zipper! Which is great to stop your coins from falling out if you're looking for something in your wallet.

The high quality wallet also has this adorable red background with all of the Senshi symbols printed all over the inside. From what I see, it's an exact copy of the original wallet. The regular, cheaper version has its own inside print of a pink background with hearts.

Overall Rating

I'm super happy and thrilled with this wallet. I was a little nervous how it would turn out but I can see I didn't have to XD I'm also very glad that the Sailor Moon brooch was exactly how it was supposed to be. I've seen horrible copies where the gems were all out of place! Even though the high quality version is more expensive, the outcome made me feel so much better about buying it.

Hope you liked my review!
